Linksys has a new line of very good looking routers in black with an aesthetically pleasing sleek design. The various models have a whole host of smart features as well as provide protection. Some of these features include :-

MIMO technology to create excellent signals for maximum rand and speed with fewer dead spots
MIMO smart antenna technology for extended range and fewer dead spots
Note that MIMO is not available on all four models. The four popular models are the Linksys WRT54G2 Wireless-G Broadband Router, the Linksys WRT110 RangePlus Wireless Router, the Linksys WRT160N Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router and the Linksys WRT310N Wireless-N Gigabit Router.  Other features include:

Sandisk Sansa e280 compact MP3 player can hold 2000 songs.  You can add more external memory with a MicroSD Transflash Card.  The e280 plays MP3, WAV, WMA and ASF audio files and even MPEG-4, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WMV and AVI video files.   Other great features include 1.8 inch bright screen, FM Stereo Tuner, Voice Recorder, Radio Recorder and Built-In Card Reader.  The Rechargeable Lithium Battery lasts 20 hours when full charged.

The sound quality is just like an iPod.  The 2280 is affordable, and cheaper than an iPod.  It’s built solid, interface simple and upfront and has a bright 1.8 inch screen.  The screen is not scratch proof, earphone is not exactly top quality.  

The N1 Vision is one of the coolest wireless routers ever seen.  Unlike most other wireless routers which usually contain a few blinking lights for a display, the N1 Vision has a display to show a computer’s network broadband speed, bandwidth usage, and the status of connected devices.

The N1 Vision is 802.11n draft 2.0 compatible, with a 3 x 3 radio design that provides excellent speeds and complete wireless coverage. It has Easy Security Setup with support for WiFi Protected Setup and Multiple SSID.  It comes with Plug-and-Play features and there is no need to download any software.  It also has 4 Gigabit ports for expandability.

It is selling for approx. $179.99.

This one needs no write up.  The title says it all.  And for only $12, you can’t go wrong.

With everyone carrying phones that tell time, why does anyone need a watch anymore, unless it is for looks or it is the new 8GB Multimedia Watch.  With a 1.8-inch screen, there is a massive array of features including 20fps video playback, 8GB of storage and an MP3 player.   At $86 a piece, it is not bad idea to go get one.

Lenovo recently launched its super slim notebook named the X300.  It is comparable to Apple’s MacBook Air and has a businesslike look.  Besides the looks, it offers several functions.  The ThinkPad X300 beats the MacBook Air in a few areas:  the wide range of ports and connectivity options, a removable battery, and an integrated DVD drive.  Sadly though, at $2500, it is more expensive than the MacBook Air.
The X300 weighs 2.93 pounds, and at 0.75″ at its thinnest point measures the same as the thickest point of the MacBook Air.   Once you add the full size battery and a DVD drive, the weight goes up to 3.5 pounds.  Other features include a full size keyboard, a 13.3″ LED backlit display, an Ethernet jack and a cellular phone modem.

Samsung’s new handset for this year, Soul,  is a slim slider handset with an aluminum finish exterior, a 2.2″ QVGA display, a touch capacitance navigation panel, and navigation icons that change depending on the applications used. The Samsung Soul is also equipped with features such as a 5 Mg camera with autofocus, face detection, an image stabilizer, quad-band GSM/EDGE, HSDPA support, an integrated FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, MP3 playback, and a microSD memory card slot, and a Bang & Olufsen digital power amplifier.  It will be launched in Europe this April.

Genius Navigator 365 mouse is a small travel mouse for a laptop and also a gamepad rolled into one.   Priced at $33 ea, it will come quite handy when you are in a hotel and want to keep your kids busy on a video game.

SEGATOY robotic dog responds to various stimuli like touch, voice, and even has the ability to track you as you move around it.  This robotic pooch can move various parts of its body including eyes, mouth and head, tail and even shakes its paw while responding to voice commands.  This toy retails for $270ea.

Hanging Printer is a printer with the bulk of its components underneath the desk. The paper feed and print head are the only parts on the desk. The embedded LCD in the casing indicates status.
